2021 started with a morning show reboot as Fitz exited the station to focus on his countdown show. Eventually, Scott Mahalik announced that The Bobby Bones would be filling that slot. Bones currently is syndicated from Nashville.

This month also brought a few changes to KNUC as well. Hubbard officially upped afternoon host Bryan Washington (“B-Dub”) to APD/MD at their Seattle county station. He will continue to host his show.

Middays at The Bull are getting a new voice and another non-Seattle personality as Chelsea Taylor takes the slot. Taylor’s current post is at WIRK in West Palm Beach, Florida where she will voice track her Seattle show. These changes are not too surprising as we continue to see companies like Hubbard consolidate their resources.

KNUC-FM continues to go head-to-head with Audacy’s 100.7 The Wolf. However, The Wolf continues to garner higher ratings than its competitor.
