It seems that Fox 13 continues to lean into the news room to drive its programming. They recently launched a new 6pm broadcast that now runs after their 4pm and 5pm hour. Now, they are taking the last hour of the morning news and rebranding it Good Day Seattle.
There have been a ton of shake ups at Fox13 over the last year we some very notable morning show staff now departed. So, this recent change does come across as a bit desperate because outside of the name change, the format has not appeared to change much.
Perhaps in the future we will see some more changes to the 9am hour, but for now it seems like people don’t like it and viewers certainly don’t get. How do they do in the ratings?
